Last year, Twitter rolled out night mode for its Android and iOS apps. Now, the micro-blogging site is testing an automatic night mode feature for Android.

The latest beta version of Twitter will now ask users if they “want night mode to work automatically “. The pop up suggestion has on, off and automatic option. When you select the automatic mode, the Twitter app will  over to night mode at dusk and go back to day mode in the morning.

The Night Mode theme lets users switch to a darker theme that is less strenuous on their eyes during night time. It theme basically changes the app’s background from white to a darker blue tone. Currently, you have to enable Night Mode option from the Me tab and tap on the Settings menu but with the new update you can set the option to automatic.
