Samsung Galaxy Note5 gets Android 7.0 Nougat update in India

Samsung earlier this week started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat update for Galaxy Note5 smartphone in India, couple of months after the Nougat update was released for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge smartphones. The update brings several UX and performance fixes, including improvements to notifications, multi-window mode, always-on display, and enhancements to the system upgrade and app installation process.

The update also brings efficient space for installation of downloaded apps, improved speed of system upgrade and app installation, according to Samsung. It also includes the latest Android security patch for the month of March.

The Android 7.0 Nougat over-the-air (OTA) update for the Galaxy Note5 is 1030.22MB in size and has the build number N920GDDU3CQC7. If you haven’t received the update yet, you should be getting it soon. The update is also available in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and more countries with the same build number.
