Hisense has inaugurated its new corporate headquarters and first Product Experience Centre in India at AIPL Masterpiece, Gurugram. The facility consolidates the company’s product lineup under one roof, showcasing current and upcoming offerings across televisions, air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators, and small domestic appliances for both the Hisense brand and Toshiba televisions.
Comprehensive Product Portfolio on Display
The newly opened centre features Hisense’s latest display innovations alongside major home appliances. Among the key highlights on display are:
- Televisions: Flagship UX RGB MiniLED series in 100-inch and 116-inch sizes, Laser TVs, and the Toshiba 85ZXSP 85-inch model.
- Major Appliances: Intelli Cool Pro series air conditioners, recently launched top-load and semi-automatic washing machines, front-load washers, and the Triple Drum X-Zone Master.
- Refrigeration & Climate Solutions: Smart screen and double-door refrigerators, along with Hisense Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Small Domestic Appliances: Upcoming dishwashers, microwave ovens, and air fryers.
According to the company, the upcoming product lines exhibited at the centre will be rolled out across the Indian market in phased releases.
Retail Strategy and Growth Targets
The establishment of the Gurugram centre aligns with Hisense India’s broader omnichannel retail strategy. While maintaining an established footprint on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart, the brand is actively growing its physical retail presence. Hisense products are distributed through regional and national retail partners, including Reliance Digital, myG, Nandilath, Sonovision, Khosla Electronics, Patra Electronics, Sathya Agencies, and Great Eastern Retail.
Offline retail channels are projected to drive nearly 70% of Hisense India’s business this year. Supported by expected demand during the upcoming festive season, the company is aiming to scale its revenue from US$100 million to US$150 million by calendar year 2026.
Commitment to Local Manufacturing
Complementing its retail and operational expansion, Hisense has reinforced its manufacturing footprint in India through its operational facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh.
The plant currently produces air conditioners and washing machines. Moving forward, the company plans to continue investing in domestic manufacturing, localized research and development, and product adaptation tailored specifically to the requirements of Indian consumers.
Commenting on the launch, Pankaj Rana, CEO, Hisense India, said:
The opening of our first Product Experience Centre in India marks an important milestone in our journey in the country. We are expanding beyond televisions to build a full-fledged multi-category consumer appliances brand, supported by a wider retail presence, a growing product portfolio and increasing localisation. The centre brings our Hisense and Toshiba TV portfolios together and gives our partners and stakeholders an opportunity to experience the products we have in the market today and those planned for India in the coming months. As we expand, our focus will remain on bringing relevant products and technology to Indian consumers while building a strong and long-term presence in the market.
