At the MWC 2016 last year, Sony introduced a concept device called as Xperia Agent. This is device is similar to that of Google Home and Amazon Echo that helps us by responding to voice and gestures. This year it demoed the device. Check out our hands-on impressions.
It offers you the information you need, communication assistance and home appliance controls. This device is powered by Sony’s voice technology and will respond to a number of commands.
Moreover, it also comes with an inbuilt camera and projector display to project the content onto the surfaces. Having said that, Sony is looking out for tie ups to expand the Agent’s capabilities.
As per the company claims, the Xperia Agent can do variety of IoT tasks including turning on light, controlling thermostat and home security system.
