It looks like Twitter is going to get a lot better in 2017. Jack Dorsey, Twitter CEO took to his Twitter account and invited users to suggest what the company can do to “improve or create in 2017”. The topmost request came out from users was to add the ability to edit tweets.

Dorsey in one of the responses agreed that “a form of edit is definitely needed’. He said the ability to edit should be available for all users and not restricted just to verified users. He even asked a user if the edit button should be present all the time or only for a certain amount of time after a tweet has been posted. Twitter users also gave him suggestions such as adding a bookmarking tool, improving safety among other things. Next up, Dorsey said he wants to improve conversations on Twitter in order to make it easier to manage and follow.

Twitter has been working hard to curb online abuse and bulling on its platform. It has taken several measures in 2016 and according to Dorsey will continue to improve safety and reporting options for bullies this year.
