Google rolls out About Me tool to control the display of your info on all of its platforms

Google has launched a new ‘About Me’ tool that allows you to edit and delete your personal data and control what people see about you.

Google About Me

The information present about you is visible to other people as well. You can edit the details about work place, remove your birth date or edit surname and fill up details like where you live and where have you lived in the past by entering the location. Your photo can also be changed using the tool. There is a ‘+’ button on the right side that lets you add personal contact information and Education. Google says that any changes you make will be reflected across all of its services like Gmail, Hangouts, Google Maps, Inbox, Google Play, YouTube, Google+, and so on.

Earlier, all your personal information was saved in Google+ but as it is no longer required for Google’s services, the About Me tool will do the job for you.
