Under the seven day sale, MakeMyTrip is offering heavy discounts for flight, hotel and holiday package bookings. The company is bringing together participation from multiple domestic and international airlines and leading hotel chains including Air France, KLM, Qatar Airways, Malaysian Airlines, Trident Group of Hotels, Singapore Tourism Board, Sterling Hotels, Country Inn & Suites, Lemon Tree, Ginger Group of Hotels, Lalit group of Hotels and Zuri Hotels & Resorts, Citrus Hotels.

MakeMyTrip is expecting a fivefold surge in traffic during the app-only sale. The company has entered into an exclusive partnership with Citibank and is providing add-on benefits & exclusive offers to Citi debit & credit card customers. Giving some insights about MakeMyTrip’s mobile app the company said that it has crossed 12 million app downloads of which 1.5 million downloads in September alone. Mobile bookings from the app contribute to 25% domestic flights and nearly 50% of total online domestic hotel transactions.
