Apple has launched its flagship iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus smartphones in India, as it promised. The new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus have 4.7-inch (1334 x 750 pixels) and 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) displays, respectively with new 3D Touch technology that senses the pressure you apply to the display to offer different features.
New iPhones have Apple A9 processor with M9 motion co-processor, 2GB of RAM, 12-megapixel iSight camera with support for 4K video recording, 5-megapixel front-facing camera with Retina Flash, runs on the latest iOS 9, comes in 16GB, 64GB and 128GB variants and pack new Qualcomm MDM9635M LTE Cat. 6 modem for faster LTE speeds and support for 23 LTE bands.
The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus come in Silver, Gold, Space Gray and Rose Gold colors. As we already know, the iPhone 6s is priced at Rs. 62,000, Rs. 72,000 and Rs. 82,000 for 16GB, 64GB and 128GB versions, respectively, while the iPhone 6s Plus is priced at Rs. 72,000, Rs. 82,000 and Rs. 92,000 for the 16GB, 64GB and 128GB versions, respectively.
The new iPhones are already available for purchase from online retailers such as Flipkart, Amazon.in, Infibeam and others. These are also available through Airtel stores, Reliance stores and authorized resellers offline across India. Vodafone has tied up with Amazon India to bundle Vodafone Red 1299 plan worth Rs. 8,885 for 6 months free of cost on purchase of iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus from Amazon.in. Airtel is offering iPhone Infinity plan for postpaid customers with 60GB of free 4G data over 12 months for iPhone 6s and 6s Plus customers those who subscribe for any of the Infinity plans.
