LG has finally made its G Watch R, the company’s latest Android Wear smartwatch with a circular display official. It is the world’s first watch-style wearable device to feature a circular Plastic OLED (P-OLED) display and utilizes 100 percent of its watch face, says the company. The Motorola Moto 360 has a black bar at the bottom of the display.
It has a 1.3-inch (320 x 320 pixels) P-OLED Display compared to 1.65-inch (280 x 280 pixels) LCD display on the G Watch. It even has a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor to measure heartbeats. It has durable stainless steel frame and has interchangeable 22mm calf skin leather strap.
Other specifications are similar to the first G Watch, including a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 SoC, 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. It is dust and water resistant and can stay in water up to meter deep for 30 minutes and packs a 410mAh battery.
