Google has updated Gmail for Android with the ability attach files directly from Google Drive. Users can directly insert files, photos, and documents to Gmail with this latest update.
Prior to this update, users had to attach file” through an email draft, then select to share a file from Google Drive. Also, users can change the sharing setting of the file before sending it. In addition, the Gmail team announced that the autocomplete feature when inserting contacts should be faster and more accurate when composing a message.
