Samsung launched the Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit in India last month. All these latest accessories are now available in India from the official Samsung India eStore. Samsung unveiled the Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and the Gear Fit at the MWC 2014 in February. Both the Gear 2 and Gear 2 have a 1.63 inch (320 x 320 pixels) Super AMOLED display similar to the first Gear, but these run on Tizen OS instead of Android. The Gear 2 has a 2-megapixel auto focus camera capable of recording 720p HD videos, which is absent in the Gear 2 Neo.
These have IP67 certification for dust and water resistant and connects to the devices using Bluetooth 4.0 LE. These also have IrLED to use to use Samsung WatchON Remote. Other features include, Calculator, ChatON, Flashlight, Quick Settings, Voice Memo, Smart Relay, S Voice, Stopwatch, Timer and more.
The gear fit has a wide 1.84-inch (432 x 128 pixels) Curved Super AMOLED display. It also has Pedometer, Heart Rate sensor, Accelerometer and Gyro sensors. All these accessories have Heart Rate sensor to monitor your heart rate easily and offers Notifications for calls, SMS, EMails and more, when paired with Samsung Galaxy smartphones.
The Samsung Gear 2 comes in Gold Brown and Titan Silver colors and is priced at Rs. 21,550. The Gear 2 Neo comes in Gray and Black colors and is priced at Rs. 15,450. The Gear fit is also priced at Rs. 15,450, but it comes only in Black. The Samsung started taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S5 last month. It would go on sale starting April 11th.
