Nokia Lumia 1520 Hands On


Nokia unveiled the Lumia 1520, the company’s latest flagship smartphone at the Nokia World earlier this week. We already brought you the photo gallery of the smartphone, here we have the hands-on. This is the first Windows Phone smartphone with a  6-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD capacitive touch screen ClearBlack display and the display has Gorilla Glass 2 protection. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and runs on Windows Phone 8 with the latest GDR3 update and Lumia Black for new software features.  Check out the hands on below.

It packs a 1/2.3″  20-megapixel auto focus rear camera with 1/2.3″ sensor,  f/2.4 F-Stop/Aperture, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), dual LED flash and 1080p video recording 30 fps. The phone is just  8.7mm and doesn’t feel heavy even though it weighs 209 grams. It packs 2GB RAM, 32GB internal memory and micro SD card support up to 64GB.

The phone packs a 3400 mAh (integrated) with built-in  wireless charging capabilities. Nokia has also announced the Protective Cover CP-623 and DC-50 portable wireless charging plate  for Lumia 1520 at the Nokia World. The Nokia Lumia 1520 comes in Glossy Red, Yellow, White and Black colors and is expected to roll out sometime in Q4 2013.
