Swipe launched the Junior tablet aimed at Kids, now the HCL ME Champ is available in India from online retailer Snapdeal which is also aimed at Kids. It has a 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) multi-touch display, powered by a 1 GHz Cortex A9 processor with Mali-400 GPU and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera.
It comes with a lot of pre-loaded content including exercise in Math, Science, Geography, History, Art and Language to improve the kids’ knowledge, interactive books, TV Mornings Cartoons app, Creativity app to create books by adding voice recordings, pictures and texts. It also has parental lock that allows parents to restrict apps and the amount of time the kids can use the tablet. It also comes with collection of music and music videos. Other pre-loaded apps include, Hungama, Opera mini, Kingsoft Office, Navigate and more.
