Apple is expected to unveil the company’s latest flagship smartphone, the iPhone 5S and a cheaper iPhone 5C at an event in Apple’s HQ in Cupertino. Apple sent out the press invites for today’s event last week and China Telecom confirmed it recently. There were rumors about Apple adding biometric fingerprint sensor on the new iPhone’s home button. Now, The Wall Street Journal has confirmed that the next iPhone would indeed have a fingerprint sensor.

iCtech, a Chinese Weibo user has posted a user manual for the iPhone 5S that reveals the existence of a large Home button that is also called Touch ID sensor. The specfications of the iPhone 5S has also been leaked by CTechnology. The display and the dimensions are expected to be similar to the iPhone 5.

We will have to wait for Apple to announce everything officially later today to find out more details about the next-gen iPhone.
