Google Search for iOS with Google Now

Remember the leaked YouTube video that revealed that Google Now is coming to iOS ? The update for Google Search is now live that brings Google Now finally. The new Google Search update version 3.0 brings Google Now that shows several cards weather and traffic, favorite sports teams, breaking news stories and lots more. You can just swipe away the cards to dismiss them.

Google Now was introduced for Android in the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) at Google I/O back in June 2012. The Google Search app for Android was updated recently  Google Now widgets for the home screen and lock screen, and new cards. The Google Now in iOS doesn’t offer notifications like the Android app does.

Download Google Search for iPhone and iPad (iOS 5.0 and above) from the Apple iTunes Store for free, if you don’t have it yet.
