Samsung REX 70 Photo Gallery

The Samsung REX 70 was announced today by the Korean manufacturer at an event in Delhi. The device is a part of its new range of entry level JAVA based phones. The phone has a 3inch screen with a resolution of 320×240. The screen is of the capacitive variety and offers multi touch gestures.

Like the REX 80, the phone also has Dual SIM. This has Hot Swap capabilities similar to the Rex 90. The interface layer is TouchWiz as seen on higher priced offerings from Samsung.

Over at the back users can find a 2 megapixel camera. The back has a nice texture to it which should help grip the device.

Connectivity options top off at 2G / EDGE for network based data. There is no WiFi support here. Users however do get Bluetooth to transfer photos and music between devices.

The phone is bundled with 10 Gameloft games and users can download free games from the Samsung store over the next three months.

The REX 70 also improves over the REX 80 by offering support for 13 regional languages which will be definitely appreciated by prospective buyers. A 1000 mAh battery powers the device and is rated for up to 13 hours of talk time. The REX range of phones have been priced between Rs 4280 and Rs. 6490.
