Google+ for Android updated to support Ice Cream Sandwich
With the impending Android 4.0 ie Ice Cream Sandwich release , Google has started rolling out updated applications for its own offerings to better match the UI of the new OS.
While Google+ might not have caught on as well as Google hoped , the new application adds some nifty features alongside bug fixes. Users of the new app can expect :
- Completely new app and new visual design
- Battery life improvements
- Navigation and performance improvements
- Significant notifications improvements
- Brand new posting UI
- Several bug fixes
- Support for Google Apps users
- Ability to sign out
- Add people to a circle from circle profiles
