RIM is holding its BlackBerry Dev Con Americas developer event in San Francisco today where the company’s Co-CEO Mike Lazaridis is expected to take the stage in a few minutes. We would be sharing all the info from the show floor with you in the live blog below. The event was supposed to begin at 8:30 AM PST but looks like we have a little delay.  Might be they are waiting for the attendees to settle down ?

UPDATE: RIM has announced it’s BBX platform for its devices
