Air India has introduced mobile check-in facility that lets mobile customers check-in from their WAP/GPRS enabled mobile phones. This facility is available across six metros – Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Bengaluru for domestic flights.

To check into your flight go to flyai.mobi from your phone’s browser and enter the details like booking number, date, flight number, origin etc. . This is simple to use and eliminates large queues and waiting time in the airports. Passengers with check-in baggage may also use this method.

For those who prefer web, there is also web check-in option available in the Air India website under ‘manage your trip’. Mobile Check-in would be rolled out in other cities in phased manner. International flight check-in feature would also be introduced soon.
