Google has been expanding Google Assistant to more Android devices. Now, according to a latest report from Android Police, Google will soon launch Google Assistant for iOS. Citing unnamed sources, the report said that Google may announce Assistance for iOS at the I/O conference tomorrow.

The report further stated that Google Assistant for iOS will be available only in the US at launch. Google will release a standalone application that will be available in the Apple App Store. As per the report, Assistant for iOS will mostly be a blend of voice command features with the chat functions found on the Google Allo version of Assistant. There are no further details about the app as of now.

Google first launched Google Assistant in October 2016 with the launch of Android 7.0 Nougat and its Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones along with its Google Home smart speaker. After rolling out to Assistant to a couple of Marshmallow and Nougat powered devices, Google said that it will not expand Assistant to Android tablets.
