Gionee just sent out invites for the global launch of A1 and A1 Plus smartphones in the new ‘A Series’ at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in Barcelona on February 27th. The company confirmed that the smartphone carry on Gionee’s product DNA, a long-life battery, will pack a sensational selfie camera as well as dual cameras for enhanced photo quality.
At the global launch event William Lu, CEO and president of Gionee will reveal more details about these new smartphones. According to the teaser the A1 and A1 smartphones are expected to come in two different sizes and feature a slim design.
According to earlier rumors, the Gionee A1 is expected to pack a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, come with a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, runs Android 7.0 (Nougat), pack 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and a 4000mAh battery.
The Gionee A1 and A1 Plus event starts at 11AM CET (3:30 PM IST) on February 27th. Gionee will also showcase these smartphones from February 27th till March 2nd. We will be there at the event to bring you more details about these smartphones.
