Apple is said to debut a 5-inch iPhone with vertical dual cameras, according to a latest report from Japanese outlet Macotakara. Citing unnamed sources, the report said the dual-camera setup similar to what we have seen on the iPhone 7 Plus this year. However, the dual cameras will be arranged vertically and not horizontally.

Previous report from Nikkei had suggested that Apple will release 5-inch iPhone and it will have a all glass back design. Last month, Barclays Research analysts claimed that the company will introduce two iPhones with 5-inch and 5.8-inch display. Next generation iPhones are already rumored to come with OLED display. 2017 iPhones are also expected to support Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) on both the camera modules.

Earlier in March, KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also said that the next gen iPhone will come with curved panels on the front and back with metal on the sides and sport an AMOLED screen. Earlier this month Macotakara also said that next gen iPhone will come in a new bright red color variant. Last week, a tipster stated on Weibo that Apple could launch iPhone, iPhone Plus variant and a new high end ‘Ferrari’ model.

We have already read a lot about possible improvements and new features on the upcoming iPhones next year. Apple is expected to bring major design changes to iPhones next year as it is will be company’s 10th anniversary.
