OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 2 smartphone will have a fingerprint sensor. The company already revealed that the OnePlus 2 smartphone will be powered by improved Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 SoC and will come with USB Type-C connector. This will be the most advanced fingerprint sensors out there and will unlock your device faster than Apple’s TouchID, said the company.
Regarding to the fingerprint sensor on the OnePlus 2, the company on the official OnePlus forum, said:

The next feature of the OnePlus 2 will be revealed on July 7th, Tuesday. The OnePlus 2 will be announced on July 27th at 7:00 PM PT (July 28th 7:30 AM IST) in a virtual reality event.
