Samsung Galaxy Note 4 might come with retina scanner


Samsung is planning to include retina scanner on Galaxy Note 4. A tweet sent from Samsung Samsung Exynos Twitter account reads, “Security can be improved using features unique to us. That’s what we envision. What would you use”. Also, this tweet is supported by an image of a smartphone with an eye on it.

Hence, this might suggest that the upcoming Note edition from the company might be equipped with a retina scanner. Samsung’s current flaghship phone the Galaxy S 5 comes with a fingerprint scanner and also it’s a competitor to the iPhone 5. A retina scanner can either add an additional security layer to the Galaxy Note 4 or substitute it for the fingerprint scanner.

Previous rumors about the Galaxy Note 4 has suggested that the phone will have a 5.7-inch QHD display, the new Exynos 5433 octa-core processor with Mali-T760 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32 GB storage and a 16-megapixel camera. Running on Android KitKat 4.4, Samsung is expected to be unveil the Galaxy Note 4 in September during IFA 2014.
