Samsung has introduced the Galaxy A08 budget 4G smartphone in the ‘A series’, as the successor to last year’s Galaxy A07. It has a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD screen. There is an 8MP camera inside the notch.
It retains the Helio G99 SoC and runs Android 16 with One UI 8 on top, and Samsung has confirmed 6 generation of OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates for the phone.
The phone has a 50MP rear camera along with a 2MP depth sensor, has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and packs a 6000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging, but it doesn’t come with a charger in the box. It has IP64 ratings for dust and water resistance.

The Samsung Galaxy A08 comes in Navy Blue, Silver, and Green colours and is priced at 10,699 Ukrainian hryvnia (USD 239 / Rs. 23,000 approx.) for the 4GB + 128GB model and is already on sale in countries like Ukraine.
It is listed on the websites of some countries like Serbia and South Africa, so we can expect a wide rollout in the coming weeks and months.
