Supercell has launched a second collaboration between its mobile strategy game Clash of Clans and WWE, centering on a promotional campaign that pits WWE Superstars Cody Rhodes and John Cena against each other in-game. The limited-time event runs from September 1 through September 30.
According to Supercell, the premise of the event draws on the real-world gaming history of both wrestlers, who are long-time Clash of Clans players.
During the month of September, players conducting standard multiplayer raids will have a chance to encounter a high-level base designed after John Cena. Successfully defeating the base rewards players with an exclusive, one-time Cody Rhodes village statue.
WWE Hero Lineup and In-Game Skins
The collaboration introduces six WWE Superstars redesigned as Clash of Clans Heroes and units:
- Cody Rhodes: Barbarian King
- Alexa Bliss: Archer Queen
- The Undertaker: Grand Warden
- IYO SKY: Royal Champion
- Jey Uso: Minion Prince
- Kane: Dragon Duke
Additional Features and Themed Content
Alongside the base-hunting mechanics and character skins, the September update integrates several event-specific features tied to WWE programming:
- Themed Village Scenery: An in-game environment inspired by the upcoming WWE Money in the Bank event scheduled for October 10 in New Orleans.
- Temporary Event Troops: Special units available exclusively during the promotional window.
- WWE Reward Chests: Mystery chests containing in-game items, including Challenge Tickets, Action Figure Equipment, and a guaranteed Cody Rhodes Hero skin.
Other WWE talent, including The Undertaker and IYO SKY, are set to participate in promotional efforts across social channels throughout the month. The event content is available globally across iOS and Android platforms through September 30.
