Firefox browser for Android is getting new tab audio indicator displays in tab list and users will be able to include URL when sharing selected text from web page. The app also gets some accessibility improvements and users can now mark read/unread state of items in reading list panel. Mozilla has also taken down support for older Android OS version 3.0 through 3.2.6 (Honeycomb) and will soon end support for  2.3–2.3.7 (Gingerbread).

Next up, Mozilla has discontinued the Tab Groups from Windows, Mac and Linux as this feature is not being used by many. Users can access the same functionality via add-ons. In case of new additions, Mozilla has added a new click-to-view image option in the menu that will let users choose which images on the Web they want to download in order to conserve data usage. It has even added a toggle to disable sharing of camera and microphone in admin UI for a simpler browsing experience.
