Nokia Lumia 1020 up for pre-order in India for Rs. 49999

Nokia launched the Lumia 1020, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in India last week, but they did not announce the pricing. Nokia said they would announce the price only on October 10th, a day before the launch, now the phone is available for pre-order from the official Nokia Shop for Rs 49,999. The Lumia 1020 has a 4.5-inch (1280 × 768 pixels) AMOLED capacitive touch screen ClearBlack display with Pure Motion HD+ technology. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and runs on the latest Windows Phone 8 OS with Amber update.

It has a 41-megapixel rear camera with 6 lens optics, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) , Xenon flash to shoot better images in low lighting condition and also LED flash for video recording. It has a 1.2-megapixel HD front-facing camera with wide angle lens, 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It packs a 2000 mAh battery with Wireless charging supported via option Charging Cover (CC-3066).

The Nokia Lumia 1020 comes in Yellow, Black and White colors and would go on sale sometime in the 3rd week of October. It also comes with a Nokia WH-530 stereo headphone worth Rs. 2,999 for free. It comes with Rs. 1000 worth app voucher, 2GB of 3G data per month for 2 months for Vodafone users and 1 year of complementary handset insurance plan from New India Assurance. Nokia already announced at the launch that they would sell the Camera Grip and Wireless Charging shell in India for Rs. 7,500 and Rs. 3,200 respectively.
