Asus Fonepad 7 Hands On

Asus Fonepad saw yet another refresh at the IFA 2013 in Berlin and the Fonepad 7 was showcased among the many other Asus devices. The new Asus Fonepad 7 is a minor update over the earlier version of the Fonepad 7 with new front facing dual stereo speakers and an upgraded 5MP camera at the back. Asus Fonepad 7 is powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor and the graphics are taken care by PowerVR SGX544Mp2 GPU. There is 1GB RAM and the tablet is available in three internal storage variants – 8/16/32GB. There is a microSD card slot for expansion of internal storage.

In terms of connectivity, the Asus Fonepad 7 has 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB. Asus Fonepad 7 runs on Android 4.2.2 with a little skinning from Asus. There is a non-removable 3950mAh Li-Po battery powering the device. The Fonepad 7 will be available in Sapphire White and Diamond Black colors.
