Samsung launched the Galaxy Mega devices, the Galaxy Mega 5.8 and the Galaxy Mega 6.3 in India at an event earlier today at Rs. 25,100 and 31,490 respectively. The company has also announced data offers for Reliance (RCom) customers that would let them enjoy free data, WhatsApp and more for 3 months.
With this offer, customers buying these Galaxy Mega devices would get 2GB of free data per month for 3 months along with unlimited access to Big Movies Library, unlimited WhatsApp, Twitter and Facebook for this period.
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 has a 5.8-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor and the Galaxy Mega 6.3 has a 6.3-inch HD ( 1280 x 720 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen display and packs a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor. Both these phones run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).
