Apple has announced an expansion of iCloud+ in India, with the updated subscription rolling out starting this month. The change also affects the availability of Apple’s subscription services in the country.
Apple TV
iCloud+ subscribers in India will get access to Apple TV, including drama and comedy series, feature films, documentaries, and kids and family entertainment, with new releases every week.
The catalog includes:
- The Studio and Ted Lasso, both multi-Emmy Award-winning comedies
- Severance
- Pluribus, which Apple identifies as its most-viewed drama
- CODA, the Academy Award Best Picture winner
- F1, an Academy Award winner and the highest-grossing sports feature of all time, according to Apple
Since its worldwide launch on November 1, 2019, Apple Original films, documentaries, and series have received more than 900 wins and over 3,800 award nominations. The Apple TV app is available on more than 1 billion screens, including iPhone, iPad, Apple TV 4K, Mac, popular smart TVs, gaming consoles, and tv.apple.com.
Apple Arcade
iCloud+ subscribers in India will also get unlimited access to Apple Arcade, which offers more than 200 games.

Apple Arcade games have no ads or in-app purchases and support offline play. The service also follows Apple’s user privacy standards. Users can play the games on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV 4K, and browse the catalog through the Arcade tab on the App Store and the Apple Games app.
Apple Music Select
In addition, iCloud+ subscribers in India will have access to Apple Music Select, a collection of ad-free stations programmed by Apple Music. The collection includes regional music and stations such as Top Songs, 80s, and 90s, which users can access from the Home tab in the Apple Music app.
Users who want a full Apple Music subscription can subscribe directly through Apple at:
- Individual Plan: Rs. 115 per month
- Family Plan: Rs. 145 per month
For users accessing iCloud+ through Family Sharing, the monthly price is available to the person who pays for the iCloud+ subscription.
The full Apple Music subscription includes on-demand listening, Spatial Audio, Lyrics Translation, AutoMix, editorial playlists, and exclusive content.
iCloud+ features
iCloud+ continues to include additional storage and features such as event creation in Apple Invites and enhanced privacy features. Users can check their subscription status and update their iCloud plan from an iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Vision Pro through the Settings app.
Through Family Sharing, users can share an iCloud+ subscription with up to five family members. iCloud+ also lets users back up, store, and share personal content across their Apple devices.
Pricing and availability
The expanded iCloud+ plan will roll out to more than 100 countries and regions through the end of September, including India, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Türkiye, and the United Arab Emirates. The expansion adds Apple TV in 59 additional countries, taking its availability to 170 countries worldwide.
In India, iCloud+ pricing starts at:
- 50GB: Rs. 75 per month
- Additional storage tiers: Available
Apple TV and Apple Arcade will no longer be available as individual subscriptions directly through Apple in India. Existing individual subscribers will continue to have access through iCloud+, while their current individual subscriptions will be cancelled. Apple Arcade game progress and saves will be preserved.
For Airtel customers:
- iPhone customers on eligible Airtel postpaid plans can access iCloud+ with Apple TV and Apple Arcade.
- Customers already subscribed to Apple TV through select Airtel postpaid plans can transition to iCloud+ with Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional cost.
Apple One will no longer be available to new subscribers in India, while existing Apple One subscribers will continue to have access to their current subscription.
The availability of specific iCloud+ features, Apple TV content, and Apple Arcade games may vary by country, region, or device.
