OnePlus N6 Lite with 6.75″ 120Hz display, 7000mAh battery to launch in India on September 22

After teasers, OnePlus has officially announced the launch date of OnePlus N6 Lite, expanding its budget-friendly N-series portfolio. Positioned with an emphasis on battery capacity and display performance, the smartphone is scheduled to launch in India on 22 September 2026.

Battery and Power Management

The centerpiece of the OnePlus N6 Lite is its 7,000mAh battery. According to manufacturer testing, the device supports:

  • Video Playback: Up to 26.8 hours
  • Navigation: Up to 29.9 hours via Google Maps
  • Voice Calls: Up to 49.7 hours
  • General Endurance: Up to three days of usage on a single charge

The phone also includes wired reverse charging, allowing it to function as a power source for accessories and other devices. For long-term durability, the battery is rated to retain over 80% of its original capacity after 1,600 charging cycles, which OnePlus estimates at roughly six years of typical use.

Display and Hardware Build

The N6 Lite features a 6.75-inch screen equipped with a 120Hz refresh rate. It incorporates “Aqua Touch” technology, designed to register touch inputs accurately even when moisture, water droplets, or oil are present on the glass.

Despite the 7,000mAh cell, the chassis measures 8.95mm in thickness and weighs approximately 215 grams. It complies with MIL-STD-810H military-grade standards for impact resistance and everyday drop protection. The handset will be available in two colorways: Midnight Hype, a muted dark tone, and Neo Green.

Software and AI Utilities

On the software front, the device carries a 36-Month Fluency certification, indicating testing aimed at minimizing performance degradation over three years. Integrated tools include:

  • Creative Features: Photo editing utilities such as AI Eraser and AI Clear Face.
  • Productivity: Google Gemini integration for search assistance, content drafting, and daily task management.

Official retail pricing, introductory promotional offers, and open-sale dates will be revealed during the 22 September launch. Distribution in India will cover OnePlus.in, the OnePlus Store App, Amazon.in, official OnePlus Experience Stores, and partnered offline retail locations.
