moto buds 2 with dual drivers, up to 55db ANC, LDAC launched in India for Rs. 2999

motorola has expanded its connected device lineup in the Indian market with the launch of the moto buds 2, along with the moto g37 series, as it had prmised. This was introduced in March at the MWC 2026.

Audio Architecture and Specifications

Motorola has partnered with audio giant Bose to deliver a premium acoustic experience. The Moto Buds 2 Plus feature a hybrid audio setup that combines 11mm dynamic drivers (handling deep, resonant bass) with 6mm Knowles balanced armatures (managing crisp mid and high frequencies).

The earbuds support Hi-Res Audio, the low-latency LHDC codec, and Spatial Audio for a highly detailed and immersive listening experience.

Noise Management and Call Quality

To drown out the chaos of the daily commute, the earbuds are equipped with up to 55dB of Dynamic Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The ANC automatically adapts to your surrounding environment to provide optimal noise reduction, while a dedicated Transparency Mode lets you tune back into the world around you without pausing your music.

Voice calls also get a major upgrade. A robust six-microphone system (three on each bud) works in tandem with Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) and Motorola’s software-driven CrystalTalk AI to isolate your voice and aggressively filter out background chatter in loud settings.

Build Quality, AI integration

Motorola continues its successful collaboration with Pantone, offering the Moto Buds 2 in a striking range of Premium PANTONE™ curated colours. The earbuds emphasize a “small body, big comfort” design, ensuring they sit securely and comfortably in the ear for extended marathon listening sessions.

The earbuds also pack plenty of on-board intelligence:

  • Smart Wear Detection: Automatically pauses your music when you take an earbud out and instantly resumes when you put it back in.
  • Moto AI Integration: Intelligence right at your fingertips, allowing for smarter voice control and adaptive audio enhancements on compatible Motorola devices.
  • Moto Buds App: A dedicated companion application that gives you full control over equalizer settings, ANC levels, and firmware updates.

To top it all off, the Moto Buds 2 feature a water-repellent IP54 design, making them highly resilient against intense gym workouts, light rain, and accidental splashes.

Battery Life and Connectivity

One of the most striking features of the Moto Buds 2 is their staggering endurance. The earbuds promise an impressive 53 hours of total playback time when combined with the charging case, giving you the freedom to travel, work, and play without constantly reaching for the charger.

Furthermore, the Moto Buds 2 arrive with the cutting-edge Bluetooth 6.0 support, offering vastly improved connection stability, enhanced energy efficiency, and exceptionally low latency. This is complemented by Dual Device Connection, allowing users to pair two devices simultaneously—perfect for seamlessly transitioning from a laptop video conference to an incoming smartphone call.
