Google has introduced new AI-driven shopping capabilities by integrating its Gemini models with the Shopping Graph, a dataset that includes more than 50 billion products worldwide, with 2 billion updated every hour.
These updates are designed to improve how users discover, compare, and evaluate products across the Gemini app, AI Mode in Search, and Circle to Search. The features combine real-time product data with conversational and visual interfaces to make shopping more efficient for users in India.
Last year, Google launched its Virtual Try-On tool in India, allowing users to virtually try apparel listings on themselves.
New AI shopping features
Shopping inside the Gemini app
Users can now browse and explore products directly within the Gemini app while chatting. The experience extends beyond basic text responses and includes:
- Shoppable product listings
- Product comparison tables
- Prices from across the web
- Links to places to buy

Shopping in Gemini is powered by the Shopping Graph, ensuring that product information is frequently updated and widely sourced. This experience is currently available in English and Hindi.
Conversational shopping in AI Mode on Search
Google has expanded AI Mode in Search in India to make shopping more conversational and structured. Instead of relying on keyword-based queries or multiple filters, users can ask natural language questions and receive organized responses.

AI Mode presents:
- Visual results with shoppable images
- Product prices, reviews, and inventory details
- Comparison tables with side-by-side product differences
- Insights from reviews to help evaluate options

This allows users to quickly understand and compare products without navigating across multiple pages. The feature is available in English and Hindi.
Expanded Circle to Search with multi-item recognition
Circle to Search has been enhanced on supported Android devices, including Pixel 10 and Samsung Galaxy S26 series. Users can now identify multiple objects within a single image at the same time.

By circling, tapping, or scribbling over an entire image—such as an outfit seen on social media—the system can break down each component, including clothing, footwear, and accessories. It then surfaces similar items for each element, helping users explore product options or recreate a look without performing separate searches.
Availability
- Gemini app shopping features and AI Mode in Search are available in English and Hindi in India.
- Circle to Search enhancements are rolling out on select Android devices, including newer Pixel and Samsung Galaxy models.
