OnePlus India teases new Nord phone; Nord 6 expected soon

OnePlus has officially signaled an upcoming expansion to its popular mid-range Nord smartphone lineup. According to recent communications from the company, this year will mark the beginning of a new phase for the Nord series, with multiple new devices expected to hit the market in the coming months.

The rollout is anticipated to begin with the next major iteration in the series, likely to be named the OnePlus Nord 6, the successor to last year’s Nord 5. While specific technical specifications, pricing, and exact release dates remain under wraps, the company has begun its initial promotional campaign to generate early interest in the upcoming hardware.

Alongside the announcement of the lineup’s expansion, OnePlus released a pair of promotional images hinting at the new devices. One teaser, accompanied by the text “Entering the Nord era soon,” displays a darkened silhouette of a smartphone. The image highlights the device’s curved corners, a side-mounted physical button, and the edge of a rear camera module.

A second, more detailed graphic features the text “Items to declare?” and utilizes an x-ray-style visual. It depicts a travel pouch containing a translucent, teal-colored OnePlus smartphone. The image also showcases a broader device ecosystem, displaying a pair of wireless earbuds, a power adapter, a charging cable, keys, and a pin featuring the brand’s signature “Never Settle” slogan.

These early glimpses suggest that OnePlus will continue to emphasize both its distinct design language and ecosystem accessories as it enters this new phase of the Nord brand. Further details regarding the OnePlus Nord 6 and the broader device lineup are expected to surface as the official launch window approaches.

As usual, the phone will be sold on Amazon.in, in addition to OnePlus India online store and offline stores.
