Xiaomi has introduced the REDMI Note 15 Pro Series for the global markets, which includes the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G and REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G, emphasizes durability, extended battery life, and AI-integrated photography.
The phones were introduced in China back in China last year, but the global version has few changes in terms of camera and battery.
Physical build

The Pro+ model also incorporates a fiberglass back panel designed to improve impact absorption. Additionally, the series introduces “Wet Touch 2.0,” a feature designed to maintain touch response when the screen or user’s hands are wet.
Cameras and AI Integration
The imaging system on the Pro models centers on a new 200MP HPE image sensor (1/1.4-inch size). The camera system utilizes in-sensor zoom technology to provide 2× and 4× optical-level zoom, supporting five distinct focal lengths ranging from 23mm to 92mm.
Xiaomi has integrated several AI-driven features into the camera software, including:
- Triple-focal-length DAG HDR for improved dynamic range.
- AI Creativity Assistant for post-processing.
- Dynamic Shots 2.0 for motion effects and object removal.
Performance and Hardware
The series utilizes different chipsets across the models to target various performance segments:
- REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G: Powered by the Snapdragon® 7s Gen 4 mobile platform. It features the Xiaomi IceLoop cooling system, which Xiaomi claims offers triple the heat-transfer efficiency of standard solutions.
- REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G: Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset.
On the software front, the devices support Google Gemini and Circle to Search with Google. The Pro+ model specifically integrates Xiaomi HyperAI for system-level AI tasks.
Connectivity features include the Xiaomi Surge T1S Tuner (on the Pro+) for signal stability and an offline communication mode capable of short-range voice transmission without cellular coverage.
Display and Audio
The series features near-borderless displays with peak brightness reaching up to 3,200 nits and, 3840Hz PWM dimming for eye comfort.
- Display Size: The Pro+ and Pro feature 6.83-inch screens, while the standard Note 15 5G utilizes a 6.77-inch display.
- Audio: The devices include stereo speakers with a volume boost feature (400% on select models, 300% on the standard model).
Battery
A primary focus of the new series is structural reinforcement and battery endurance. The premium REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G utilizes a 6500mAh Silicon–Carbon (SiC) battery with 100W fast charging.
The REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G has a 6580mAh Silicon–Carbon (SiC) battery with 45W fast charging. This technology, debuting in the REDMI Note series, allows for higher energy density in a compact form factor. The device supports 100W HyperCharge and 22.5W reverse charging.
According to Xiaomi, the battery management system allows the cells to retain 80% capacity after 1,600 charge cycles, which the company equates to approximately six years of typical usage.

These are already rolling out in several countries globally and are expected to launch in India soon.
