iQOO just introduced the Z11 Turbo, the company’s latest smartphone in the Z11 series in China, as it had promised.
Display
The phone features 6.59-inch 2750×1260 OLED flat screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. It uses TCL CSOT C9+ luminescent material, with a peak brightness of 5000 nits and a minimum brightness of 1 nit. It supports DC-like dimming + 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and offers full-brightness DC-like dimming as an option. The phone boasts 3200Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, a 300Hz ten-finger touch sampling rate, supports 1 billion colors, and features Schott Shield glass.
It uses the same self-developed solar algorithm as the iQOO 15, achieving a local peak brightness of 5000 nits for clear viewing even in sunlight; it boasts a 90% screen brightness ratio for the first frame, resulting in virtually no ghosting when scrolling; it supports the same Eye Comfort 2.0 as the iQOO 15: a hardware-level 1-nit sleep screen with AI sleep mode that reduces the impact of melatonin secretion by 25%; a dry eye-friendly color temperature range that reduces eye fatigue by 28%; and the same hardware-level gaming eye protection as the iQOO 15, which analyzes game visuals in real time and intelligently adjusts blue light to protect your eyes without disrupting the gaming experience.
Performance
The iQOO Z11 Turbo is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Mobile Platform and a self-developed e-sports chip, Q2, featuring the Monster Hyper-Core Engine, an e-sports signal enhancement chip, and Ice Dome VC liquid cooling. It uses full-fledged LPDDR5X Ultra memory and the latest UFS 4.1 flash storage, achieving a AnTuTu benchmark score of over 3.59 mllion. In the open-world mobile game, it achieves an average frame rate of 60fps, with smooth and fluid gameplay, a low variance of 0.56, and an average power consumption of only 4.54W.
The phone uses an Ice Dome dual-mesh cooling system, which, under extreme heavy load testing, reduces the CPU core temperature by up to 15°C, and keeps the temperature difference between the cold and hot areas on the body surface within 1.8°C, resulting in more even heat dissipation.
In terms of communication, the iQOO Z11 Turbo has 24 surround antennas to capture more stable signal sources from all angles; the AI e-sports signal engine 2.0 can predict upcoming network congestion in milliseconds; and the e-sports signal enhancement chip Thunder Z1 can maintain stable online connection even when continuously penetrating four walls.
Build
The iQOO Z11 Turbo comes in four color options: Floating Light, Halo Pink, Sky White, and Midnight Black. Midnight Black features a fiberglass back cover, while the others have glass back covers. The phone uses an aluminum alloy frame, and the rear camera cover is inspired by a robot. The overall design retains iQOO’s classic square-round porthole shape.
It supports IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance, has a width of 74.42mm, weighs 202g, and is 7.9mm thick.
Camera
In terms of imaging, the iQOO Z11 Turbo phone is the first iQOO phone to feature a 200MP main camera with a large sensor, supporting 4x lossless zoom. It supports full-focal-length portrait mode for the first time, with 50mm and 85mm options, and full-focal-length Live Photos. The front camera has been upgraded to 32MP and supports 0.8x wide-angle.
Battery
The iQOO Z11 Turbo features a 7600mAh ultra-thin blue ocean-sized battery; it adopts second-generation semi-solid-state battery technology, which the company claims maintains its activity level regardless of whether it’s in scorching heat of 40 degrees Celsius or freezing cold of -20 degrees Celsius. It supports 100W flash charging and all-scenario direct drive power supply 2.0, allowing for charging while playing games without overheating.
