vivo has confirmed the launch of V60e, the company’s next mid-range smartphone in the V60 series and the successor to the V50e, which was launched in the country earlier this year.
The company says that this will be vivo’s first smartphone in under Rs. 40,000 price segment with a 200MP main camera.
vivo has confirmed that the phone will offer 30x super zoom with the main camera, which will also feature OIS. The secondary 8MP camera will use an ultra-wide lens, and there will be a 50MP eye autofocus front camera. It will also come with Aura Light. The company teases India’s first AI festival portrait.
vivo has also confirmed IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance ratings, Comprehensive Cushioning Structure and Diamond Shield Glass, and a 6500mAh battery with 90W fast charging.
The phone is expected to retain the 6.77-inch 120Hz 3D curved AMOLED display with up to 4500 nits peak brightness, but replace Dimensity 7300 SoC with a Dimensity 7400 SoC.
The vivo V60e will come in Elite Purple and Noble Gold colours. According to accidental Flipkart listing as noted by tipster Paras Guglani, the MRP is Rs. 34,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model, so the starting price of the phone could be Rs. 29,999, and the pricing for the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB are expected to be Rs. 31,999 and Rs. 33,999,respectively.
