Optiemus Infracom, a technology accessories company, announced the launch of RhinoTech, a new brand of tempered glass screen protectors manufactured in India using glass engineered by U.S.-based Corning Inc.

Market Outlook and Production Strategy

With this launch, these are the first tempered glass products made in India for both domestic and global markets. The company expects its tempered glass business to generate Rs. 1,800–2,000 crore by FY27, produced at its Noida facility.

The company added that India’s domestic market for tempered glass is estimated at 400 million units annually, valued at Rs. 20,000 crore in 2025, with over 90% of demand currently supplied by imports.

RhinoTech products will initially target premium smartphones and later expand to the economy segment. At the time of writing, the tempered glass was initially listed for the iPhone 16 Pro Max on the official website, but later the device name was removed, and the pricing is now shown as Rs. 499.

The company confirmed that RhinoTech tempered glass will be available from late September 2025 through its official website and select authorized retail partners. Device-specific availability and pricing will be shared closer to the roll-out.
