Xiaomi recently confirmed that Redmi S2/Y2 will get Android 9 Pie around June. Now the company has started rolling out new Oreo-based MIUI 10.3 update for the phones that brings several fixes, optimizations and some features.
The MIUI 10.3.1.0.OEFMIXM Global Stable update for the Redmi Y2/S2 is about 306MB is size and comes with April security patch. If you haven’t received the update on your device, you can download the Recovery ROM here and flash it using the recovery method or the smaller Incremental update from 10.2.2.0 here.
