Apple has announced that top apps are integrated within the Siri Shortcuts making apps even easier to use with a simple tap or by asking Siri. Apple announced Siri Shortcuts at the WWDC event and uses powerful on-device intelligence to help users get things done faster.
Apple says that Siri Shortcuts help users tackle daily tasks in an instant With just a tap on the Lock screen or by asking Siri, users quickly gain access to apps like Evernote, create audio and camera notes and print and much more. At work and at home, users can streamline projects, boards and cards with shortcuts in Trello, Omnifocus 3 and Things.
Based on how customers use their devices, Siri will suggest simple, useful shortcuts right when needed on the Lock screen or in Search. There will be a “Add to Siri” button in apps, or go to Settings > Siri & Search to find all shortcuts available from your apps and to set a personal phrase to run them with.
