Xiaomi today launched its latest budget 4G smartphone under Redmi series dubbed as Redmi 4A. It has a 5-inch HD display, is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor and runs on MIUI 8.1 based on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow).

Following the launch of Redmi 4A, Xiaomi also confirmed the successor of last year’s Redmi 3s and Redmi 3s prime will launch in India soon.

Qualcomm at an event in Delhi announced its new Qualcomm 205 Mobile Platform to bring 4G LTE connectivity and 4G services to entry-level feature phones.

Couple of months after Vodafone confirming merger talks with Aditya Birla Group’s telecom arm Idea Cellular, Board of Directors of Idea Cellular at its meeting held today, 20th March have approved amalgamation of Vodafone India Limited (VIL) and its wholly owned subsidiary Vodafone Mobile Services Limited (VMSL) with Idea.
