Google has launched a new app that aims to be your travel guide the next time you take a vacation. Dubbed as Google Trips, the travel app consolidates your travel itinerary, reservations and maps together.

Google Trips lets you plan, organize and manage trip. Each trip contains key categories of information, including day plans, reservations, things to do, food & drink, and more. It also lets you customize a daily itinerary with places you want to watch. The unique feature of Google Trips is the offline feature which means all your trip details and itineraries are available offline and you will have to simply tap the “Download” button under each trip to save it to your phone. This is helpful feature as you may not always have access to data connection while you are travelling.

Google Trips pulls up all the information like flight itineraries, hotel reservations and so on from your Gmail. The app will contain an agenda, suggestions for popular things to do around the area, food and drink suggestions, and more. Google Trips offers variety of day plans featuring the most popular daily itineraries for top 200 cities in the world. It has assembled the most popular sights and attractions  into a full day’s tour which are based on historic visits by other travelers. It also lets you manually add specific destinations that you know you want to visit.
