It’s not the HTC One M9 that everyone was expecting but as expected, HTC have expanded their Desire range with the entry-level Desire 320. The successor to the Desire 310, the Desire 320 aims to pick up where it’s predecessor left off and offer HTC’s Android experience at a low price point and will be available in the UK and Germany.

The Desire 320 is a non-LTE handset powered by a quad-core Mediatek processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with the Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS and HTC’s Sense UI. It has 512MB RAM, 8GB internal storage along with a microSD card which can expand this by up to 32GB. The Desire 320 has a 2100 mAh battery and will be available in both white and grey. It’s coming to the UK (possibly with O2 UK) and will also be stocked by O2 Germany.

Peter Frølund, HTC General Manager for UK and Nordics, said:

“Marrying super-fast processing with premium HTC features in a compact form, the HTC Desire 320 delivers a quality experience for the budget conscious well beyond its entry-level model status. Following on from the success of the HTC Desire 310, it boasts enhanced power and memory to enable more people to benefit from a quality smartphone experience that delivers the perfect balance between smart essentials and value.”
