SwiftKey keyboard coming to iPhone and iPad on September 17


Soon iPhone and iPad users will be able to use SwiftKey keyboard. The popular third party keyboard is coming to iOS devices on September 17th. Apple will roll out iOS 8 on the same day.

The SwiftKey Keyboard will work on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Although the SwiftKey Flow feature, that lets you slide from letter to letter, will be iPhone and iPod Touch only. SwiftKey for iPhone and iPad delivers support for multiple languages, predictive text and auto-correction. The recently launched iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be released on September 19th and users can soon head to Apple App store and download the SwiftKey keyboard. At launch, it will support English, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.

Users can type in two languages without switching keyboards thanks to SwiftKeyboard’s intelligent language detection technology. The third party keyboard app specializes in word prediction and adapts as per user’s writing patterns.
