The Google Phone rumors have resurfaced and now its been confirmed by Google itself as it calls its Android Dogfood diet for the Holidays. Google is loaning out the Google phone based on Android internally to its employees. Although the folks at Mountain View did not reveal much , a website has manged to get hold of Spy shots of the phone.
The new Android phone is expected to be the HTC Passion which is the Android version of the HD2 which runs Windows mobile. Small hardware changes like addition of a trackball are expected.
We are not sure if the phone is GSM or CDMA. But just look at the gigantic display on the phone which has a 1Ghz CPU inside
Looks like the Motorola Droid story is going to take a backseat soon
