Nokia Treasure Tag connects with your Nokia Lumia smartphone via NFC or Bluetooth. You should download the Nokia Treasure Tag application from the Windows Phone Store and thankfully, when you pair your Nokia Lumia device with the accessory for the first time, it will prompt you to download the application.

The dimensions of the Nokia Treasure Tag are 30 x 30 x 10mm and weighs just 13g, so you will hardly feel it as a burden. When you pair your device to the Nokia Treasure Tag, both the devices are connected and when you try to leave the house without the accessory to which you have attached the Treasure Tag, both the devices emit a sound so that you can easily locate where your forgotten accessory is. In addition to making a notification sound, you can also access the location of the Treasure Tag in a map that is powered by Nokia’s HERE Maps.

You can pair a maximum of four Treasure tags with your Lumia smartphone and the application will help you select the device based on color of the Treasure Tag and you can also choose to keep a picture of the accessory. You can mute the accessory or put it into sleep mode via the Lumia application. The battery inside the Nokia Treasure Tag is a standard coin cell type (CR-2032) and it is expected to have a battery life of six months.

Nokia Treasure Tag is available in four color options – yellow, cyan, white and black. The price of Nokia Treasure Tag is $29.90(approx Rs. 1,900) and it is expected to be available globally from April. Nokia Treasure Tag will be supported on Android and iOS devices via third-party applications.
