CyanogenMod firmware for the Oppo N1 released

 Oppo N1 CyanogenMod

Oppo released the Limited Edition OPPO N1 running on CyanogenMod earlier this week. Now the company has released the CyanogenMod firmware for the smartphone, as it promised last month. This installs easily on any version of the phone and is maintained by CyanogenMod team so that it will be updated with new releases, says the company.

CyanogenMod is specially tailored to support all of the N1’s innovative hardware and software features like the O-Touch Panel, O-Click Bluetooth remote control,  rotating camera, and also unique features from ColorOS such as double tap to wake and screen-off gestures, as it said earlier.

You can just download the ROM and install it from the stock recovery without rooting or installing a custom recovery. Remember that you will lose all your data on the phone, so backup your important data before installing it. The CyanogenMod ROM for the Oppo N1 is CM10.2, which is based on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean).

Download the CyanogenMod firmware for the OPPO N1 from the Oppo website and head over to the Oppo forums to follow the simple instructions regarding the installation process. You can also go back to the ColorOS firmware easily. We will bring you the complete overview of the Oppo N1 running on CyanogenMod soon.
