Motorola has just announced a thumb sized clip that incorporates NFC to unlock your brand new Moto X. The accessory once paired can be clipped onto your shirt or belt or wherever else you may want. Tap the skip to the back of the device and your phone will be unlocked.

The Skip ships with three Skip dots that pair with your phone. Essentially NFC tags, you can touch your device to the sticker which’ll unlock the phone and then use voice commands to perform actions like setting an alarm. The accessory will only work with the phone that it was paired with and it is possible to easily unpair it if you manage to lose the Skip. The Skip takes Motorola’s focus on touchless controls to a whole new level and could also be instrumental in taking NFC mainstream. The Motorola Skip will ship for free with all phones bought via the  Moto Maker website. Others may purchase the accessory separately for $19.99.
