MWC 2011 : Viewsonic Launches Dual Booting Tablet

Viewsonic just announced the launch of its new tablet offering at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The Viewpad 10pro brings with dual booting capabilities to allow an Android VM running on top of Windows 7. The tablet is targeted towards the enterprise audience. Viewsonic promises over 6 hours of battery life from the tablet.

The tablet is powered by Intel’s next generation Oaktrail platform and comes with a 10.1″ screen with 1024 x 600 resolution. There is a 16GB SSD drive onboard along with 1 GB of DDR3 RAM. The front camera on this dual booting tablet has a resolution of 1.3 MP and facilitates video calling. The processor doing duty here is a 1.6 Ghz Intel Atom Pineview processor.
